Description

Tree up to 30 m high and 60 cm ø. Bark dark brown, smooth. Leaves (pseudo-whorled) coriaceous, oblanceolate, obovate-oblong, elliptic-lanceolate, or narrowly elliptic, 13-23 by 3-8 cm, glabrous; Petals whitish or pale yellow, imbricate, oblanceolate, 5-7½ by 1-1¼ mm, puberulous outside, densely papillose usually at the lower half inside; Stamens 5(-7), 5-6 mm; Panicles 7-15 cm long, puberulous; Ovary obovoid, l-1½ mm long, puberulous;
