Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific) (Erroreously given for Greece, at species or subspecies rank (P. mascula subsp. arietina), in previous floristic literatur but absent (see Strid & Tan 2002). Records from KK (Crete) refer to P. clusii subsp. clusii, records from StE to P. parnassica, and records from EAe (Samos) to P. mascula subsp. mascula.)
