Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific) (Absent from Greece (see Euro+Med 2006–). A single literature record from WAE (Evvia, erroneously accepted in Jalas & Suominen 1983: 7) refers to Cerastium brachypetalum subsp. roeseri (Strid & Tan 1997: 210).)
