Cyclamen rhodium subsp. peloponnesiacum is a spring-flowering species found in damp, mossy coniferous or deciduous woodland. It belongs to the C. repandum group, the taxonomy of which is somewhat unsettled. As currently understood, C. rhodium subsp. rhodium is restricted to Rodos, Kos and possibly Chios, whereas subsp. peloponnesiacum and subsp. vividum occur in Peloponnisos, and C. repandum s.str. is a C Mediterranean taxon (Italy, SE France, etc.).A
