Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific) (Dubious taxon possibly not distinct from V. orsiniana, known only from the type collection from the former Jugoslavian side of Mt Kajmakčalan and reported for Greece in Tutin & al. (1972: 245), which needs confirmation.)
