Description

Tree, up to 30 m, 55 cm ø. Leaves oblong to lanceolate, 5-15 by 1½-5 cm, acute to acuminate at apex, acute or a little tapering at base, entire; Inflorescences terminal and axillary, made up of a varying number of mostly 3-to 5-flowered, shortened, sessile cymes,flowering simultaneously, the 2-5(-10) mm long rachis mostly growing on vegetatively when terminal, sometimes when axillary; Sepals ovate to elliptic, 3-4½ by 1¼-1¾ mm. Petals obovate-lanceolate, 3-4½ by 1-1¼ mm, acute at apex. Stamens with c. 1½ mm long filaments; Ovaries c. 0.6 by 0.5 mm; Fruits up to 6 by 5 mm.

Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present
Malesia: New Guinea.
