This was sporadically found in ditches in the Mission Garden, Keglsugl airstrip, New Guinea, by Dr. N. M. WACE, 14 Sept. 1971 (ANU 13035). This may become naturalized. It is not known whether it was brought intentionally or came along with other seed as a weed. Identified by J. MENNEMA, Leiden.
