Malesia: New Guinea (known from type collection only).
Morphology
One sterile frond has only 2 pairs of pinnae which are 4 cm wide, below a frond- apex with lobes of similar width. A frond intermediate between sterile and fertile has most pinnae 5-8 mm wide towards their bases, distally like pinnae of a fully fertile frond.
