Description

Tree up to 24 m high and 20 cm ø. Branchlets light brown, velvety, glabrescent. Leaves coriaceous, oblanceolate, 18-67 by 4-16½ cm, glabrous on both surfaces; Flowers 7-9 mm long. Petals oblong or obovate-oblong, 4-5 by 1¼-1¾ mm, flat. Stamens 3½ mm; Panicles axillary only, 1-3 cm long; Ovary subglobose, 1½-2 mm ø, gradually narrowed into a very short style;

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sarawak present), Kuching present, Lundu present
Malesia: Borneo (Sarawak: Kuching and Lundu), 5 collections.
