Deciduous tree to 25 m, 50 cm Ø.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines cultivated), Northern America, SE. Asia cultivated, U.S. Cemetery, Fort McKinley, Rizal Prov cultivated, northern Venezuela present
Mexico to northern Venezuela, in SE. Asia cultivated, rare in Malesia (Philippines: U.S. Cemetery, Fort McKinley, Rizal Prov.). No fruit seen.

Notes

A yellow-flowered species has been reported by BACK. & BAKH. f. () to be cultivated in Java under the name T. chrysantha (BUR. & K.SCH.) SANDW., but in absence of material I cannot check the identity.
