Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific) (Presence in Greece questionable (Euro+Med 2006-), as far as based on old 19th century records (Halácsy 2: 205, Hayek 2: 839). More recent records from coastal localities in NE (Drossos 1992: 105) and SPi (Georgiadis & al. 1994: 180) probably refer to coastal forms of S. oleraceus.)
