    Apparently rare in Greece, according to Troia & Greuter (2015), known with certainty only from the C, E and S Aegean Islands and to be looked for elsewhere. Most revised Greek records under this name belong to I. sicula, Previous records of I. histrix from IoI are questionable and may, after revision, turn out to belong to I. sicula or I. todaroana, respectively (Troia & Greuter 2015).
