Description
Shrubs or small trees;
Leaves coriaceous-fleshy.
Inflorescences with ♀ flowers widely branched;
Flowers 5- (sometimes 4- or 6-)merous, with pedicels, solitary or fascicled along the branches of the inflorescence;
Panicles axillary, often also on older branches or on the main trunk.
Distribution
Andamans present, Asia-Temperate: Taiwan (Taiwan present), Asia-Tropical: Thailand (Thailand present); Vietnam (Vietnam present), Burma present
One variable species: Andamans, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Malesia. .
