Asia-Tropical, Papua New Guinea present
Malesia: Papua New Guinea. Known only from the type collection and a small sterile frond from the same locality.
Notes
This species is also close to P. attenuatum but has sessile basal pinnae and quite glabrous lower surface; scales are needed for a good comparison, those of P. attenuatum being very distinctive.
