Description

Annual 1-2 m long climber, leafy stem c. 1 mm diam., sparsely fine-hairy, glabrescent. Leaves: Fruit 1 (or 2), ellipsoid, 1.5-2 by 1-1.5 cm, base rounded, apex narrowly rounded; Seeds numerous, elliptic, c. 3 by 1.5-2 mm, margin faint.

Taxonomy

Except for the deeply lobed leaves and rather large fruits, this species comes close to the widespread N. indica of which it is possibly only a regional form.
