Notes
This species is very near C. archboldii, but appears to be distinct in its short stipe with reduced lower pinnae, and shorter narrower stipe-scales; also possibly in thinner pinnule- segments. There is a good deal of Variation in the abundance of dark setae on the scales of pinna-rachis, costae and costules.
