Notes
The type specimen is from an old frond; no remnants of indusia have been seen on it. Specimens collected by Carr (13363, 14542), which agree in scaliness and form of pinnules with the type, show fragments of indusia on most sori. If the type is truly lacking in indusia, Carr's specimens should probably be regarded as re- presenting a distinct species.
