Asia-Tropical: Maluku (Maluku); New Guinea present, Ceram, Halmaheira
Malesia: New Guinea, probably also in the Moluccas (Halmaheira, Ceram).
Notes
Connected with typical S. scrobiculata by intermediate forms.
