Description

Shrub or small tree, 3-4.5 m high, 6 cm dbh. Leaf-blade 20-50 by 6.5-25 cm; Inflorescences shorter than the leaves, mostly elongate and often very densely set with flowers; Sepals minutely appressedly reddish brown hairy; Petals white, when dry yellowish, the longest one 12 mm long; Stamens: Ovary slightly ribbed; Fruit globular, up to 2 cm diam., dull, rather smooth, light brown;

Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Perak present, Selangor present, Treng-ganu present
Malesia: Malay Peninsula (Perak, Treng-ganu, Selangor).
