Xanthophyllum pubescens

Description

Shrub or small tree, up to 12 m, 5 cm dbh. Leaf-blade 15-28 by 5.5-9.5 cm; Inflorescences up to 10 cm long; Sepals densely to very densely patently greyish hairy outside; Petals white, the upper ones with a yellow spot, when dry yellowish, the longest one 12-13 mm; Stamens: Ovary containing 8-13 ovules. Fruit (immature) obovoid, dull, finely pustulate.

Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Johore present, Pahang present
Malesia: Malay Peninsula (Pahang, Johore).
