Description

Probably annual. Leaves about as long as the stems or somewhat shorter, capillary, weak, abruptly acuminate, glabrous, scabrid at the very top, otherwise smooth, c. ½ mm wide; Inflorescence simple or subcompound, loose, with 3-10 spikelets, 1½-2½ cm long and wide. Stamens 2-3;

Notes

Like F. consanguinea very near to F. complanata, but readily distinguishable by its capil- lary stems and leaves, the few-flowered spikelets, and the glumes hardly scarious on their margins.
