Description

Large tree. Young twig, panicle, leaf bud, stipule outside, petiole and leaf beneath shortly evenly +- persistently gold-tomentose. Leaves 13-20(-30) by 6-10(-12) cm, oblong, chartaceous; Stipule to 25 by 7 mm, hastate, acute. Stamens 15, the 5 inner somewhat longer than the others; Panicle to 12 cm long, terete or compressed, terminal or axillary, singly branched; Ovary narrowly ovoid-conical, glabrous;

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present
Malesia: Borneo.

Notes

The most uniform and distinct species in the section.
