Paramapania radians

Description

Leaves linear, flat or somewhat folded lengthwise, very gradually narrowed into a subfiliform, aculeate-scabrous point, antrorsely scabrous on the margins and on the midnerve beneath in the upper part, pale green or glaucescent, up to 80 cm by 3-8 mm; Inflorescence simple, very dense, head-like, subglobose, with 2-10 spikelets, up to 1½ cm across, not rarely in some of the scapes reduced to a single spikelet. Flowers 1½−1¾ mm long; Stamens 2; Fruiting spikelets ovoid-ellipsoid, brown, 7-10 by 4-5 mm.
