Dacrydium beccarii

Description

Shrub of 1 m or a small tree up to 20 m, rarely to 35 m tall. Seeds shiny, dark brown, c. 4 mm long.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present; Malaya present; Maluku (Maluku present); New Guinea present; Philippines (Philippines present), Biliran I present, Guadalcanal present, Mindanao present, N. Sumatra present, Negros present, New Britain present, Normanby I present, Solomon Islands present, Taliabu present
Solomon Islands (Guadalcanal); through Malesia: New Guinea (incl. Normanby I.&New Britain), the Moluccas (Taliabu), Philippines (Mindanao; Negros; Biliran I.) and (mainly W.) Borneo to Malaya and N. Sumatra. In the eastern part of the range there are only widely separated occurrences, and even in the western part they are somewhat discontinuous. .
