Notes

The type of this species is at Paris. Bell reported upon it in some detail (see E. amblyphyllum supra, no 30) and showed that it is not conspeeific with the Java species so named by Blume. I have also examined the specimen, which consists of small detached fronds, lacking rhizome. Its origin is described as Ind. or. I cannot identify it with any of the Malesian species of Elaphoglossum here described, and the specimen is so unsatisfactory that I would prefer to regard the name E. decurrens Desv. as a nomen dubium.
