Elaphoglossum sclerophyllum
Content
Notes
A specimen at Leiden from W. New Guinea (Versteegh BW 12609, partim, Arfak Mts, 1750 m) has apparently a short thick rhizome with close fronds which are larger than those of the type (sterile to 18 by 4, fertile to 20 by 2 cm) but in shape and scaliness very similar. Brass collections from near Lake Habbema at 2000 m (11038, 13040) are similar. These may constitute a distinct species which occurs at about 2000 m.
