Description

Small, low-branched tree. Leaves 6-16 by 2-5.6 cm, narrowly elliptic, thinly coriaceous; Panicle to 4 cm long, terminal or subterminal axillary, few branched.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Malaya present, Penang present
Malesia: Malaya (Penang).

Notes

Closely allied to V. philastreana Pierre of southern Indo-China and also to V. lanceaefolia Bl. of Assam.
