Twigs, leaf bud, petiole, and midrib beneath persistently densely vinous sericeous.
Leaves 5.5-10 by 3-5 cm, broadly elliptic, ovate, coriaceous;
Stipule unknown, fugaceous.
Flowers unknown.
Panicle to 1.5 cm long, terminal or axillary, slender, terete, singly branched.
Fruit and inflorescence entirely persistently evenly vinous sericeous.
