Description
Small tree.
Twigs, leaf buds, petioles, midrib above, and panicles densely persistently pale brown scabrid puberulent, nuts evenly so;
Leaves 7.5-12 by 3-5.5 cm, elliptic, oblong to narrowly ovate, coriaceous, somewhat bullate between the nerves;
Flowers unknown.
Panicle to 6.5 cm long, axillary, hardly branched.
