Description
Medium-sized tree.
Leaves 13-40 by 5-16 cm, oblong-lanceolate or oblanceolate, thinly coriaceous;
Panicle to 9 cm long, axillary to ramiflorousflower buds to 14 by 5 mm, fusiform;
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: Malaya present, Pahang present, Perak present, Selangor present, Trengganu present
Malesia: Malaya (Perak, Selangor, Pahang, Trengganu).
Notes
Some sterile collections from the east coast closely resemble V. sarawakensis, so far not confirmed from Malaya.
