Lilium philippinense

Description

Leaves alternate, 30-40, linear, attenuate, with up to 7 veins of which 1 or 3 are more conspicuous, 8-17 cm by 2-4 mm. Flowers 1 or 2, white, with green and reddish outside towards the base, horizontal, (10-)14-25 cm long, infundibuliform, the tube (in dried material) 8-12 mm ø. Capsule c. 5 cm long.

Asia-Temperate: Taiwan (Taiwan present), Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Benguet present, Bontoc present, North Luzon present, Pangasinan Prov present
Taiwan and Malesia: Philippines: North Luzon (Bontoc, Benguet and Pangasinan Prov.).

Notes

Except for the presence of papillae on the nectariferous furrow hard to distinguish in flower from L. longiflorum.
