Description
Monopodial treelets, 3-10 m tall;
Leaves in a terminal whorl;
Inflorescences cauliflorous, solitary to clustered, pendulous racemes, to 45 by 0.3 cm, densely flowered, 16-24 flowers per 10 cm;
Flowers 20-80, borne on 1 mm long boss- es;
Fruits ovoid to lanceolate, c. 5 by 2.5 cm, apex and base acutely tapering, strongly tetragonous, square in cross section, becoming sunken when dry;

Asia-Tropical, Milne Bay Province present, Morobe present, Northern present, Papua New Guinea present
Malesia: Papua New Guinea (Morobe, Northern, Milne Bay Provinces).
