Description

Large tree. Young twigs, buds, stipules outside and petioles shortly buff fugaceous puberulent. Leaves 6.5-13 by 3.5-7 cm, lanceolate to elliptic, undulate; Stipule to 12 by 8 mm, elliptic obtuse. Petals pale yellow, lorate, obtuse, puberulent on parts exposed in bud. Stamens 15, in 2 unequal verticils; Panicle to 8 cm long, terminal or axillary, terete, caducous puberulent, singly branched. Ovary ovoid, glabrous, surmounted by a long slender glabrous style c. 3 x length of ovary; Fruit glabrous.

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present; Malaya present, Central Sumatra present, Indragiri present, W. Sarawak present
Malesia: Malaya, Central Sumatra (Indragiri, sterile coll.), Borneo (W. Sarawak).
