Description

Large semi-deciduous tree. Leaf bud and parts of petals exposed in bud persistently cream pubescent, calyx and ovary thus at first, becoming sparsely pubescent; parts otherwise sparsely fugaceous puberulent, glabrescent. Leaves 7.5-15 by (2-)2.5-6 cm, elliptic- oblong, thinly coriaceous; Panicles to 10 cm long, lax, slender, terminal or axillary;

Asia-Tropical: Malaya present, Kelantan present, N. Perlis present, Peninsular Thailand present, S. Tenasserim present
S. Tenasserim, Peninsular Thailand; doubtfully from Malesia: Malaya (fallen leaves from N. Perlis and Kelantan).
