Trigonotis opaca

Description

Small, creeping herbs forming large, more or less dense mats. Leaves oblong to oblong-ovate, petiole 1-2 mm long, blade 4-7 by 0.2-0.4 mm, base cuneate, abruptly narrowed into the petiole, apex rounded or retuse, with 3 or 4 lateral veins on either side of midrib, glabrous except lower side of petiole, margins and midrib on lower side, which are densely strigose. Flowers solitary in leaf axils; pedicels 0.5-1 mm long, antrorse strigose. Stamens c. 0.7 mm, anthers 0.4-0.6 mm long.
