Description

Root-climber. Branchlets drying dark brown. internal hairs abundant. Leaves distichous; stipules 0.4-0.8 cm long, brownish (sub)sericeous, caducous.

New Guinea (western).

Taxonomy

This species resembles F. sageretina, from which it can be distinguished by the reticulate tertiary venation, the presence of waxy glandular spots in the axils of more lateral veins than only the basal ones, and the persistent epidermis of the petiole.
