Ficus ampulliformis

Description

Root-climber. Branchlets drying dark brown, with numerous minute lenticels. internal hairs few and minute or absent. Leaves distichous; stipules 0.4-1 cm long, brownish (sub)sericeous, caducous.

Distribution

Western present
New Guinea (western).

Morphology

This species is distinct in the ± scabrous upper surface of the (small) lamina.
