Description

Tree up to 25(-35) m tall, becoming up to 1.5 m high buttressed. internal hairs copious, whitish or yellowish. Leaves spirally arranged; stipules 1-2 cm long, partly pale brown tomentose to appressed-puberulous, caducous.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Maluku (Maluku present); New Guinea present, Bacan present, New Britain present
Malesia: Moluccas (Bacan), New Guinea (incl. New Britain).
