Description
Tree up to 18 m tall;
internal hairs abundant, white to brownish.
Leaves spirally arranged;
stipules 1.2-2.7 cm long, glabrous, caducous.
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present
Taxonomy
This species is closely related to F. adenosperma, as discussed under the latter. The differences suggest a subspecific rank rather than a specific one.
