Description

Tree up to 23 m tall, sometimes buttressed. internal hairs absent. Leaves spirally arranged; stipules 2-4.5 cm long, glabrous, caducous.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Maluku (Maluku present); New Guinea present, From Malesia to the Solomon Islands present, Key Islands present, New Britain present
From Malesia to the Solomon Islands; in Malesia: Moluccas (Key Islands) and New Guinea (incl. New Britain).
