Description

Tree, 20-30 m, 20-60 cm ø; Branchlets initially densely pubescent, late glabrescent, dark grey, lenticellate; Leaves thin-coriaceous, ovate-elliptic or ovate-lanceolate, 5-16 by 2-6 cm; Stipules linear-acute, 10-15 by 1-2 mm.

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present, Sarawak present); Jawa (Jawa present); Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present); Sumatera (Sumatera present), Berumput present, Central Java present, Mt Kinabalu present, Mt Telemojo present, Mt Wilis present, Mts Pueh present, Pahang present, Trengganu present
Malesia: Sumatra (scattered in the N. and central part), Malay Peninsula (Pahang, Trengganu), Java (scattered in W., in Central Java: Mt Telemojo and Mt Wilis), Borneo (Sarawak: Mts Pueh and Berumput; Sabah: Mt Kinabalu).

Notes

Non-Malesian records of Q. lineata relate to different species.
