Quercus oidocarpa

Description

Tree, 25-30 m, c. 50 cm ø; Branchlets initially with dense stiff pubescence, gla-brescent, lenticellate; Leaves oblong-lanceolate or elliptic-oblong, 7-17 by 3-7 cm, remotely serrulate in the apical half; Stipules linear-acute, 3-4 by ½-1 mm, densely fulvous-tomentose by simple hairs. Fruit ovoid-globose or ovoid-cylindrical, 2½-3½ by 2-3 cm, top rounded or abruptly depressed, base rounded or flat.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Jawa (Jawa present); Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Banjumas present, Pahang present, Pringombo present, Selangor present, western central part present
Malesia: Sumatra (western central part), Malay Peninsula (Pahang, Selangor), Java (eastwards to Banjumas, Pringombo).
