Description

Small tree. Branchlets initially densely set with brownish, stiff hairs, glabrescent, lenticellate; Leaves thin-coriaceous, obovate or elliptic-ovate, 1½-5 by 0.7-2½ cm, base attenuate-acute, top bluntly acute; Stipules linear-acute, densely pubescent outside, 5-10 by 1 mm. Fruit ovoid or ovoid-cylindrical, 2-2½ by 1-1½ cm, glabrous, glossy, top acute, base convex.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present, Sarawak present); Philippines (Philippines present), Nunukan I present, Palawan present
Malesia: Borneo (scattered in Sarawak and Sabah, also Nunukan I.), Philippines (Palawan only).

Notes

Inflorescences are as yet unknown.
