Notes

In Nooteboom's key to fruiting material () it comes out in two places because the leaves are hairy underneath but finally glabrous, viz. via lead 3 a to couplet 8, from the two species of which it is distinguished by: fruits narrow-ellipsoid, c. 15 mm long, with c. 10 conspicuous lengthwise ribs. Via lead 3b one arrives at couplet 25, where the same characters single it out.
Sofar only known in the fruiting state; affinity probably with S. atjehensis Noot. from the same area.
