Description

Tree up to 15 m tall, evergreen (?). Leaves distichous; stipules lateral, 0.3-0.5 cm long, brownish to yellowish appressedly puberulous, caducous. stamen c. 0.7 mm long, anther c. 0.2 mm long; fruit not seen.

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present)

Morphology

1This species can be distinguished from the sympatric A. nitidus by the larger lamina and flower heads. 2The trees may show intermittent growth.
