Description

Tree up to 30 m tall, sometimes with buttresses, deciduous. Leaves distichous; stipules lateral, 0.3-0.5 cm long, brownish to whitish appressedly puberulous, caducous. stamen not exserted, anther c. 0.4 mm long;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Sumatera (Sumatera present); Thailand (Thailand present), Western present
Thailand; in Malesia: Sumatra, Borneo (western).

Notes

2Fertile herbarium material is scarce and, therefore, the species description is incomplete. 1This rare species is distinguishable by the glandular margin of the lamina.
