Description

Tree 14-28 m high and 19-40 cm Ø. Bark grey, greyish green, light orange, or red, rather smooth, sometimes shallowly fissured. Leaves spaced, spiral, subcoriaceous, obovate- or elliptic-oblong, 9-35 by 4½-15 cm; Petals white, imbricate, elliptic, c 2 by 1 mm, with several longitudinal veins, sericeous outside. Stamens 2½ mm; Panicles axillary, terminal, or cauliflorous, up to 20 cm long, densely pubescent;
