Description

Tree up to 15 m high. Leaves spaced, spiral, coriaceous, obovate-oblong or oblanceolate, 10½-15½(-26) by 4½-6½(-8) cm, glabrous on both surfaces; Petals imbricate at the apex, otherwise valvate, ovate-oblong, c. 3½ by 1½ mm, veins invisible, glabrous. Stamens 2 mm; Panicles terminal and axillary, 15-35 cm long, young parts puberulous, glabrescent; Ovary subglobose, c. 1 mm Ø, densely pubescent;

Distribution

Andamans present, Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Pahang present, Perak present
Andamans and Malesia: Malay Peninsula (Perak and Pahang).
