Amyema mackayensis

Description

Glabrous except for the ovary very rarely sparsely brown-tomentose. Leaves opposite; lamina elliptic to orbicular, mostly 2.5-5 cm long, mostly 1.5-4 cm wide, cuneate at the base to a petiole 3-6 mm long, rounded at the apex, thick, dull on both sides; venation curvinerved, obscure. Inflorescences at the nodes, pedunculate mostly 3- or 4-rayed umbels of triads with the central flowers sessile; peduncle 6-22 mm long; rays 4-10 mm long; pedicels of the lateral flowers 2-5 mm long.

northern Australia present, southern New Guinea present
Northern Australia; Malesia: southern New Guinea.
