Leaves somewhat shorter than to about as long as the stems, almost filiform, often with inrolled margins, acute, glabrous, or slightly puberulous on the sheaths, scabrid towards the apex, 1-1½ mm wide; Inflorescence simple or compound, very loose, with (3-)10-35 spikelets, (2-)3-8 cm long.
